Síntesis y caracterización de Materiales 2D para la generación de energía.
Resumen
2/3-DOR integrates two frontline research topics: photoelectrolysis, and sustainable photovoltaics. This project will focus on the synthesis of semiconductor 2D and 3D pigments for application in emerging solar cells (perovskites and organic PV) with potential as photo- electrocatalysts for hydrogen and oxygen production through water splitting. A thorough insight into the theoretical approach, which systematically drives the photoelectrolysis reaction directly or in a coupled model, with diverse configurations of photovoltaic (PV) cells, is crucial to understand the underlying fundamental concepts and will elucidate trends in such reactions.
